Yes, Microsoft Works 6–9 File Converter allows you to open, edit, and save documents in the Works Word Processor file format for Works versions 6, 7, 8, and 9. The software will work with Microsoft Office versions Office 2003 Service Pack 2 or greater; Office 2007 Office 2003 Service Pack 3.
It doesn't have an interface or something related since it's more of a module for Office Suite.
I got a new computer and I have Microsoft Works and office on my old computer. Can I move them from one computer to another?

You can install Microsoft Works and Office in your new computer without having any kind of problems. If you are a customer and you have the installation CD, insert it into your computer and start the installation process. If you don't have an installation disk download them directly from the Internet: Microsoft Works 6-9 Converter; Microsoft Office.
No, you do not have to use Wave Browser.
